Tony Martin was the drummer for Headline in the 1980’s, it was a ska band which combined with a fusion of reggae / rock and was funk orientated. Headline was signed to Virgin records.

In the 90’s he did a jazz workshop for ten years at Goldsmith’s College, with Howard Riley, the jazz pianist, performing jazz standards week in week out.

Tony and his brothers and friends combined a small independent record label which proved to be successful with one or two hit records. During this time Tony started to programme drums and rythm and eventually played simple guitar grooves and piano chord structures.

From then on Tony has been writing acoustic songs, creating grooves and making music.
